It is scientifically proven that cheese has the same chemical in it that makes morphine addicting. Yes, I am going to use that as an excuse to why I simply do not go one day with out cheese. The addiction had already developed while in Kutztown but it did not slow down once entering the city. I live for a glass of wine and gourmet cheese.

Although I am not a red meat lover for multiple reasons, New York brought it's "A" game with the numerous amounts of burgers I tried. Shake Shack, Holy Cow, and Bareburger had a great taste but the atmosphere of each of these places made the experience of eating the burger that much better. Shake Shack, in the middle of Madison Park, Holy Cow, a modernized burger and beer bar and Bareburger, unique rustic and organic; each one holding its own delicious standards.

It is so easy to get caught up in your work when you are
a graphic designer. When arriving to GREY at 9:30 am
I often only have a coffee for breakfast. I sit at my computer and start work on markups, projects, Photoshop files, or whatever is on schedule to do that day. I feel as is if I simply blink and it 4:30 pm and I have gone the whole day without eating. This bad habit makes the travel home a hangry (hungry and angry) one indeed. So on days like these, a two-dollar soft pretzel in the train station is like a $40 steak and potatoes, to
my food-deprived belly.

Ok, I will admit it; I have a new love for caffeine after this internship. I drank, one cup of coffee and 4 cups of caffeinated tea a day. The addiction wasn't helped due to the fact that GREY supplied it all for us. Located on each floor of the GREY NY agency was a kitchen where they had out tea bags, and sugars, along side of coffee and a large fridge for milk.

For cheese-addicted lovers like myself, the best quick dinner or meal, is a simple, multiple cheeses filled grilled cheese. I ate a number of these delicious sandwiches during internship; some gourmet from the Big Cheese Food Truck or the Melt Shop and some home cooked by none other than me, myself, and I. This meal was my home sick meal and reminded me of the simple college life I was missing back at Kutztown but the gourmet New York spin on the sandwich every so often, did not leave his girl complaining.
